What is Pushing Progress Philly (P3)?
Pushing Progress Philly (P32) is a 12-month traning and supportive services program that provides participants with job training, coaching services and paid employment.
Pushing Progress Philly (P3) is a unique response to the gun violence epidemic in Philadelphia.
Together, our Team works to reduce the incidents of violence, create effective pathways for better life outcomes, and promote safety and opportunity in Philadelphia’s most impacted communities.
How it Works?
Participants receive stipends for good attendance, participation in life skills/ work readiness training, behavioral change coaching and employment.

1. WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED? | As Group based behavior change work, skill development training, paid employment and consistent coaching. |
2. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF PARTICIPATING? | As You will receive a consistent stipend and ongoing support, as well as skills training and services to help you succeed in the long run. |
3. WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM BEGIN? | As As soon as you agree, services will begin immediately. We will “Warm Up” by listening and getting to know you, what your needs are and how we can support addressing your needs. Work readiness and jobs typically start in a few weeks. |
4. WHAT WILL I BE DOING AND WHERE? | As You will attend in person and receive virtual training and coaching services, with the option for in-person work as you progress through the program. |
5. WHAT’S THE COMMITMENT? | As Participants are responsible for attending daily training and coaching, and work experience as you move forward through the program in phases that may be up to 12 months or less. |
JOBS & BEHAVIORAL COACHING:
Pushing Progress Philly provides participants with
an opportunity to make real change in their lives,
by connecting them to paid transitional
employment once other criteria have been met.
SKILL BUILDING & SUPPORT SERVICES:
Pushing Progress Philly outreach workers, coaches
and work crew staff work together to provide
participants critical support and access to services to
help set them up for success in work and life.
